Marketing firm to grow following trio of deals

Law firm Ward Hadaway has completed a string of deals on behalf of top marketing services provider Communisis.

Communisis have acquired a 49% stake in The Garden Marketing Limited (TGML) after Ward Hadaway won two deals in May. They have also purchased specialist software production agency, Kieon, and taken up the trade and some of the assets of social media agency, Yomego.

These acquisitions, completed for the Leeds-based firm, will allow Communisis to spread its wings into creative industries, and enable them to offer these services to clients as well as broadening client relationships.

TGML is a specialist in creating lead generation and collateral marketing communications for financial services and technology clients, while Kieon is a UK-based specialist software production agency that currently generates annual revenues of around £900,000 and Yomego is an agency that advises on the role of social media a part of marketing campaigns.

Andy Blundell, Chief Executive of Communisis, said: “This deal with TGML marks the latest stage in the implementation of our growth strategy and further expands our service capability.

“We look forward to working with them and our joint plans for sales synergies are already well advanced.”

Communisis will also have the opportunity to assume the remaining 51% of TGML as a part of the deal.
