Trade City Business Park, Uxbridge short-listed for award

Scheme in line for prestigious Industrial Agents Society Award

Kier Property’s ‘Trade City Business Park, Uxbridge’ development has been short-listed in the prestigious Industrial Agents Society Awards for Best Overall Scheme.

Part of Kier Property’s wider Trade City scheme, the development includes a 33,000sq ft HQ warehouse and office building at Cowley Mill Road in Uxbridge, which has been pre-let by Kier Property to international storage and removals company AGS Four Winds.

Under the Trade City banner, which focuses on delivering flexible solutions for occupiers, over one million square feet has already been developed or is under construction, of which over 80% has been pre-sold or pre-let. Occupiers have included BMW, Selco, Renault, Robert Wiseman Dairies and many local businesses.

So far, eight of the thirteen units on Cowley Mill Road have been sold or are under offer. Kier Property is holding an open morning at the site on 12 September to give local companies the chance to view the remaining units first hand.

Commenting on being short-listed for the award, Kier Property development manager, George Shepherd, said:

“We are very proud of the Trade City Business Park, Uxbridge development. It is part of our successful Trade City brand, which aims to put the occupier at the centre of matters by understanding their requirements and delivering flexible solutions. We’re delighted that our work has been recognised by the Industrial Agents Society Awards.”

Judges from the Industrial Agents Society Awards scheme will visit Kier Park Uxbridge on 4 September before the winner is announced at The Awards Luncheon on 27 September.
