At Spire Washington Hospital and the Newcastle Clinic in Jesmond, we’re proud to provide fast access to a selection of the latest modern equipment, all of which have the strongest technical capabilities - ensuring that if further investigation is required, our consultants immediately have all the right information and patients have peace of mind that the next stage of their treatment will be carried out as an absolute priority.

Our highly experienced radiographers and radiologists specialise in musculoskeletal, breast, neurology, vascular, gynaecology, urology and interventional diagnostic procedures. Whether an ultrasound scan, mammogram, magnetic resonance imaging scan, CT scan or X-Ray is needed, our patients are usually able to have both this and their report back within just 5 working days so any waiting and worrying is kept to a bare minimum.

Anyone who has passed through the doors of Spire Washington Hospital and the Newcastle Clinic will be aware that our patients are the focus of everything we do. We are as accessible as possible and the radiology department is open from 8.30am – 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 12.30p on a Saturday, which means we can always find something to suit someone’s diary.

Our sought after radiology services are open to everyone – those with private medical insurance and those who wish to use our fixed price payment option.
