National and international work boosts agency growth
COOL Blue Brand Communications has celebrated a raft of national and international contracts with a move to larger Newcastle premises and the arrival of six new staff.
The major investment comes at a time when the multi award-winning PR, social media, digital and graphic design agency has been nominated in 21 categories in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards.
Managing Director Tanya Garland said the expansion brings the agency?s workforce to 22, following combined contract wins worth more than £300,000 from international flooring specialist Tarkett, Unilever, Gentoo, Huntsman and Kromek.
?I set some ambitious business targets at the beginning of the year and we are making excellent progress towards achieving them,? she said.
?Our recent growth and success - and our CIPR award nominations ? are a testament to the talent and creativity of our team.
?It?s an exciting and changing time in PR. The advent of social media and huge advancements in technology bring many new opportunities for clients - and at Cool Blue we know how to make the two converge to best advantage.
?We are fully committed to remaining the best no matter how big we grow, so our selection process for new staff has been rigorous.
?I?m confident our new team members have got what it takes to help fuel our constant drive to devise and implement compelling PR strategies for our customers.?
Cool Blue?s new Account Managers are former award-winning journalist Hannah Davies, who joins the company from The Journal, experienced PR professional Jess Mayhew whose recent experience includes handling international campaigns for clients including Procter & Gamble and JVC Electronics - and digital and social networking expert Julie Martin, the journalist who helped to set up Trinity Mirror?s award-winning UK digital environment.
