Enthusiastic graduate on track for dream legal career

An ambitious law graduate has joined Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors’ commercial law team as a paralegal, hoping the position will put him on the right track for his dream career.

Jonathan Wall, from Spennymoor, has joined Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors’ commercial department as a paralegal, working initially within its commercial property team. He graduated from his Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University in 2011, and has since been working for ESH Group, the Bowburn-based construction firm.

He said: “Tilly Bailey & Irvine’s commercial team are not only impressively knowledgeable and experienced, but also extremely friendly and welcoming, and I am delighted to join the team.

“As there are fewer solicitors’ training posts available in the current economic climate, my aim is to progress from paralegal to a training role and from there to fully qualified commercial solicitor. Joining Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is the first step towards my planned career.”
