National employment & skills services houses data locally
Knowledge IT, a North East based provider of ICT and Datacentre Services, has won a contract worth £100,000 to provide a hosted solution to Pinnacle People, a national employment and skills services specialist. The hosting platform will be housed in one of Knowledge IT’s North East data centres.
The decision to award the 48-month contract to Knowledge IT by Pinnacle People was based on their data centre being accredited ISO27001 for Information Security, the Prince 2 accredited Project Management skills and Knowledge IT’s Virtualisation technology expertise.
Belinda Kent, Business Manager for Cloud & Data Centre Solutions at Knowledge IT, explains: “We spent a considerable amount of time with the client to understand their requirements to ensure that the solution met their business needs. The output is a complex server set-up underpinned by the high level of security required for a project of this nature.”
“It was also necessary for us to integrate third-party systems within the solution, which we were more than happy to do.”
