Can you believe it’s that time of year again?! With winter well and truly here, holidays and New Year to look forward to, it is certainly gearing up to be a busy time.
So we hope our daily ‘12 Tips of Christmas’ make it that little bit easier and also helps you to make the most of the brand new start of another year – happy holidays!
Tip 6: When the weather is bad and there is generally a lot going on locally (bringing with if lots of traffic), it is a good idea to encourage your people to plan ahead.
What will they do if they can’t get out of their street? How will they assess the travel situation and make a call on whether to set off? How and when will they let you know if they’re not coming? Are there options for them working from home?
It’s important to take into consideration the advice set out by the emergency services too. If there has been a warning issued around travel conditions, consider them carefully and advise your employees accordingly – linking in your organisation’s own contingency plans.
