Following the dreadful school shooting in Newton it emerged that private equity group Cerberus Capital, owner of the gun manufacturer Freedom Group, whose model was used in the massacre, would prompty sell the firm.

It should be noted that British outfits such as Barclays and Fleming Family & Partners invest in top stateside gun manufacturers. Will they be prompted to distance themselves?
