Going niche
Take a look at Rob Mathieson’s piece over here, on his predictions for the digital realm in 2013. He makes an interesting point about the growing potential for “niche” retailers, at a time when the traditional high street fixtures are beginning to fade.
I wonder if going niche, perhaps with faux-indie subsidiaries under different brand names, might start to become a strategy of the big name retailers?
