Manchester investment bank form US partnership
Manchester-based investment bank Altium has formed a partnership with US counterpart Petsky Prunier.
The move will mean both firms benefit from expertise in mergers and acquisitions; private placements to businesses in the digital media; e-commerce; digital advertising, marketing, technology, software, communications, information and business services and healthcare sectors.
Phil Adams, group chief executive of Altium, said: “We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Petsky Prunier to develop our activities in the fields of digital, internet, media, software, e-commerce and healthcare in the US where they have an outstanding track record. We are already co-operating with Petsky Prunier on a number of mandates and their input and contact to buyers has been extremely powerful.
“Our clients will benefit from their presence in New York and Palo Alto. We are extremely happy to partner with this dynamic organisation and we believe there is a really strong cultural fit between our two firms.”
John Prunier, co-founder of Petsky Prunier, added: “We are excited by the opportunity to bring an international execution capability on behalf of the expanding roster of clients we serve and industries we cover. We have great admiration for Altium, its people and the impressive roster of transactions it has completed.
“In addition, Altium’s commitment to growth and its efforts and success in achieving it are ideally aligned with a similar commitment held by Petsky Prunier. This new relationship holds terrific promise and we are dedicated to supporting its success.”
