Two join aspire team
North East managed services provider Aspire Technology Solutions has further increased head count at its Gateshead head office with the recruitment of two new staff.
Craig Hart, 23 from Stockton and Steven Whatt, 25 from Sunderland have joined the rapidly-expanding Aspire team during a period of significant growth and success for the company. Aspire has seen turnover increase by 35% from £3.1m to £4.2m in the past 12 months.
Craig has become Aspire’s new Management Accountant having previously worked for Clive Owen & Co LLP in Darlington and of his new appointment, he said: “The move to Aspire is an exciting one and I am looking forward to being involved in the day to day running and finance management of a company that has the potential and drive to grow considerably.
“Having recently qualified as a Chartered Accountant, I felt I needed a new challenge and had therefore been looking for the right move away from practice and in to industry. Aspire has provided me with that challenge and I’m looking forward to furthering my career with the company.”
Steven meanwhile has joined Aspire’s Service Desk team having worked for Total Business Group in Gateshead. Commenting on his new role, Steven said: “I’m delighted to be appointed by Aspire and am thoroughly enjoying working for the company.”
Nigel Begg, Managing Director for Aspire added: “The recruitment of Craig and Steven represents the continued growth and development of the business. We have experienced significant success over the past 12 months in particular and must therefore boost internal resources to fulfil the contracts we have secured.
“Both Craig and Steven have a wealth of experience in their respective fields and are already proving to be valuable assets to the business.”
