Ryder in 100 Best Companies to Work For
Newcastle-based architectural firm, Ryder, have been listed in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.
The architectural practice, who are about to celebrate their 60th anniversary, figured in the top ten for personal growth, with a positive score of 86%.
Nearly 450 entrants were registered in the survey and more than 280,000 employees gave their views on on key indicators including leadership, management, colleagues, pay, training, wellbeing and giving something back.
Employees at Ryder scored training highly, with 84% saying that it is of great personal benefit.
92% of employees reported that their job experience is of value to their future development.
Staff also merited the company with making a positive difference to the environment.
Ryder’s headquarters is based in Newcastle and the practice also operates offices in Glasgow, Liverpool and London.
Ryder Architecture managing partner, Mark Thompson, said “To be one of only two national architectural practices included is a great achievement and demonstrates continued improvement and progress despite challenging economic circumstances in recent years.
“It is fitting and very rewarding to get this recognition on our 60th anniversary.
