Square One Law welcomes tenth partner
Newcastle commercial law firm, Square One Law continues to attract leading lawyers and founding partners and Ian Gilthorpe and Alan Fletcher welcome their tenth partner, James Bryce.
James is a corporate lawyer with over 10 years’ experience of advising on a wide range of corporate finance transactions. Before joining Square One Law, James was in the Eversheds corporate finance team in Newcastle, and prior to that James spent 10 years working for an international firm in the City of London, which included time spent on secondment to an investment bank and to the legal team of a FTSE 100 property company.
James has worked in a number of sectors and his expertise includes advising public companies, financially sponsored and owner-managed businesses of all sizes, as well as a number of private equity funds and private investors.
Senior partner, Ian Gilthorpe, said: “James has wide experience of advising clients in the energy sector and will be heading up our energy team. He has worked on renewable energy projects, including advising on the development of two large scale onshore wind farms, several solar (PV) joint ventures and a number of companies in the energy supply chain and services sector”.
