Nisa beats new member recruitment records
Scunthorpe-based Nisa Retail Limited has announced that it has once again hit record recruitment figures, bringing on board 245 new members operating over 520 stores in the year since April 2012.
The new stores will bring over £103.7m of additional annual turnover to the company.
The growth has been attributed to the company’s support of independent retailers during the difficult economic climate, through which Nisa has continued to develop its retail offer, and allowed it to reach a new target audience of retail stores seeking a flexible independent retail model.
Andrew J Mouse, Nisa group sales director, commented: “These excellent results are testament to the strength of the Nisa retail member solutions on offer today which continue to meet the ever changing consumer expectations at all levels.
“The results acknowledge the enhanced level of retail support available to all members, helping them to develop all aspects of their stores.”
Nisa Retail, which is based at Normanby Enterprise Park, now has approximately 1,080 members operating over 3,750 stores throughout the UK. Over the past five years the company has seen turnover grow by 50% to £1.5bn.
