Dine toasts to 15 years of business success
Dine, one of the UK’s leading Events & Hospitality specialists, toasted 15 years of success at an anniversary event on Friday 26th April. The Leeds-based business, which estimates over £3m turnover by the end of 2013, is still enjoying significant growth and aims to reach its £5m turnover goal by 2016.
Founded in 1998 by local entrepreneur Daniel Gill, Dine has grown from a small team to a 32 strong, nationally renowned wedding and events company, which comprises four main divisions; Dine Hospitality, Dine Events, Dine at The Mansion and Dine at Allerton Castle. In January 2013, Dine also launched Dine Consultancy which offers event marketing and venue management advice to organisations such as the National Trust and historic buildings across the country.
This new and innovative initiative will not only unlock business growth for Dine, but aims to develop event spaces that without the help from Dine would struggle to generate any income.
Having catered for the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Team GB Paralympic athletes and Her Royal Highness The Queen, Dine has seen some incredible business milestones in the past year. Consistently growing and pushing the boundaries of innovation, the group’s 15th birthday is an opportunity to reflect on this success and the reputation for quality and service which Daniel and the team have built over the years.
Daniel Gill, Managing Director of the Dine Group said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be celebrating our 15th birthday this month. To be experiencing growth in what have been some very tough years for the events industry as a whole, is a great achievement and one that I am extremely proud of. I’d like to say a big thank you to all the clients, venues, suppliers and the entire Dine team, who have all contributed to our success. Here’s to the next 15 years!”
To celebrate its 15th year, Dine has pledged to raise £15,000 to split across six chosen charities. Dine’s birthday party, which was held at The Mansion on Friday 26th April, superseded the target, raising a startling £16,540 which will be donated to the Leeds Community Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Further charitable initiatives are taking place later in the year.
