Anesco?s founders head to Branson mansion
Adrian Pike and Tim Payne, founders of national energy efficiency solutions company Anesco, were in good company when they recently paid a visit to Sir Richard Branson’s Oxfordshire home.
The pair joined owners and directors of Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales, for the 16th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards. The conference and awards dinner celebrates the best of British entrepreneurship.
Reading-based Anesco is a national company dedicated to helping homeowners, local authorities and businesses reduce their carbon emissions. The firm has been recognised as the 19th fastest growing private company in the country, with the company expected to feature even more highly in this year’s table.
At the event, guests heard from speakers architect Dame Zaha Hadid, Richard Joseph of Joseph Joseph and Paul Lindley of Ella’s Kitchen, before taking part in a Q&A session with Sir Richard Branson.
Special awards were then presented in six categories for - outstanding achievement, best management team, best brand, innovation and fastest-growing company.
A charity auction held at the event to raise funds for the Virgin Unite foundation saw one lucky bidder walking away with a trip accompanying Sir Richard Branson to South Africa to visit the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and a luxury game reserve.
