Band Hatton Button completes merger
Over 100 professionals from across the region joined together to celebrate the creation of Coventry’s largest law firm.
Band Hatton, Button Legal and Varley Hibbs have now officially merged to create Band Hatton Button (inc. Varley Hibbs) and the occasion celebrated with a launch event at St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry.
The celebration was attended by legal professionals, financial experts and other business leaders from across Coventry and Warwickshire to celebrate the launch of the new firm which has 15 partners and employs over 70 staff.
Philip Costigan, senior partner at Band Hatton Button, based in Warwick Road, said: “This is a major milestone in the history of the legal profession in Coventry and Warwickshire and we were delighted that so many people were able to attend this event and celebrate with us.
“We may have increased in size, but we will stick steadfastly to our ethos of being big enough to matter, small enough to care.
“This merger combines three firms which were already successful in their own right and it is not only good for our clients and staff – it is good for the city of Coventry.”
