JPG completes office scheme for Marshall CDP
Leeds-based civil and structural engineering consultancy JPG has completed works on two new state of the art office buildings at Daresbury Park near Warrington on behalf of client Marshall CDP.
The two buildings within Cinnabar Court, which is the latest speculative phase on the 225-acre site, have been pre let to Diocese of Chester and Gene Health occupying 10,000 sq ft and 14,000 sq ft respectively.
JPG consulted on the structural components of the high specification buildings as well as the creation of new infrastructure, such as roads and drainage, to support the needs of the development.
Chris Harding, director at JPG said, “The introduction of such diverse end uses onto the park have brought an interesting conclusion to this phase of development.
“The site had been re-profiled, associated with earlier phases of development and thus, the foundation strata required very precise investigation and interpretation prior to selecting the most appropriate foundation solution.”
Located adjacent to Junction 11 of the M56 motorway Daresbury Park is one of the largest business parks in the North West and has been designated as a key strategic site by the North West Development Agency.
The Park has planning consent for 1.6 million sq ft of development and has already attracted a host of blue chip occupiers including BNFL, De Vere Group and HS Administrative Services.
Architects Building Management Services designed the buildings whilst Marshalls Construction (West Yorkshire) Ltd delivered them.
