V1 launches new product suite
New suite supports V1’s goal to become global leading provider of business automation software
19 June 2013 – V1 today announces the launch of a new product suite, boosting its award-winning business automation portfolio. The product suite will go live on 1 September 2013.
The portfolio consists of four new solutions, including automated professional services, project accounting, facilities management and training and learning management software. The new products, gained by V1 following a recent acquisition, will be a strong addition to V1’s existing document management and imaging offer and will support the businesses’ ambitious growth plans.
V1’s customers will benefit from having the choice of a much wider range of solutions, which will enable them to streamline and improve their processes, while cutting costs.
Greg Ford, Managing Director of V1, says, “An increasing number of businesses are investing in automation software so that they can simplify processes, save costs and maximise efficiencies in order to drive competitive advantage.
“V1 has already established an excellent reputation as one of the leading document management providers and our strategy is to build upon this by introducing other business automation solutions. Driving forward this product suite paves the way for our long-term ambition of becoming the number one provider of business automation software globally.”
The new solutions which will be added to V1’s business automation portfolio include:
· SharpOwl - a comprehensive professional services automation solution, which helps consulting and professional services to improve performance and profit.
· Project Minder - a web-based project accounting solution, designed for architects, engineers, surveyors, IT and management consultants
· FMEASY - a comprehensive suite of modules that ensures excellence in delivery of facilities management services.
· CourseBooker - a training and learning management solution, which has been designed for training providers and in-house training teams.
“These products naturally lend themselves to being offered in conjunction with our document management software and will be sold primarily through the channel. We look forward to re-branding these new solutions and integrating them into the business in the coming months.” concludes Ford.
V1’s software integrates into all major accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, enabling the automated delivery, storage, management and processing of documents. Typically, businesses which use V1’s technology see a return on investment within just six months.
