Local Investors in People finalists for CIPD Awards

This year’s finalists for the 2013 CIPD People Management Awards have recently been announced and Investors in People from across the North of England have been listed!

After a record number of entries and with four new categories, including ones for promoting diversity and developing tomorrow’s workforce, the Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in people management and development, as well as the impact the HR and L&D professions have on business success.

A winner for each category and an overall winner will be chosen from the shortlist by a senior panel of judges with the official announcement of winners at an awards night on 17 September in London.

Peter Cheese, Chief Executive at the CIPD commented:

“I am delighted by the record number of high quality entries received for this year’s Awards and would like to thank all the organisations taking part for the excellent work they are doing in the development and management of people. Good people management and development is crucial to the success of businesses, economies and society.
