Gateshead technology firms share space
In an interesting move, OrangeTree Development, the digital media and software company, have teamed up with WaiteIT, who provide outsourced IT to a range of companies.
The two business collaborate on a number of projects, and provide complimentary services to each other. They sit alongside each other at Vance Business Park in Gateshead, which helps with collaboration, pares down costs, and provides some useful benefits to clients too.
It effectively gives uncomplicated and non parochial access to each business’s specialisms to the clients of the other, and several instances have occurred which have saved clients actual cash.
Both businesses are established, and growing, and the joint move to Vance Business Park has so far created two additional full time positions.
The challenges of confidentiality, allocation of space and corporate ID have all proved very solvable in what both businesses believe to be a useful innovation.
