TribePad appointed by Trinity Mirror to streamline recruitment
Trinity Mirror plc, the UK’s largest newspaper group, has appointed Sheffield-based next generation recruitment software company, TribePad, to bring its recruitment processes in-house.
The media giant, which has more than 5,000 employees across 60 locations nationwide, will adopt the TribePad ‘social ATS’, allowing the publisher to manage its whole recruitment process internally, ranging from attraction to engagement and selection.
The platform will aggregate the company’s recruitment processes, moving it towards a direct-hiring model, helping drive down its cost-per-hire by reducing its reliance on third party recruitment agencies.
Prospective candidates will be able to quickly and easily search and apply for roles, build their own career profiles, and utilise an extensive resource section which includes videos, podcasts, and tools to support candidate applications, as well as learn more about Trinity Mirror.
TribePad’s solution will launch in July and Trinity Mirror will use it to directly recruit for a range of roles in a variety of its newspapers, websites and digital products.
Alaise Johnson, recruitment and resourcing manager at Trinity Mirror, said: “Working with TribePad forms part of our wider strategy of preparing for change, and effectively managing our costs, and we’re confident it will help us to achieve this.”
Lisa Scales, co-founder, TribePad, said: “As one of the country’s foremost publishing companies, Trinity Mirror, is an excellent name to have on our books.
“It is the latest in a series of significant contract wins for TribePad, as companies realise the benefits presented by our social ATS.”
