V1 wins Best Business Award 2013

V1 is named Best Small to Medium Size Business for the second year running

26 June 2013 - Document management and imaging software author, V1, has been named ‘Best Small to Medium Size Business’ (SMB) in the Best Business Awards 2013 for the second year running, after fighting off stiff competition from organisations across a range of UK industries.

The Best Business Awards aim to highlight and reward excellence across the private and public sectors to help organisations become even more successful. There are four rounds of judging each year and the winners of each round hold their winning titles for twelve months.

V1’s entry, which was judged by a panel of 12 independent business experts, had to demonstrate an outstanding product coupled with great people, innovative marketing and excellent customer service. V1 also had to prove impressive financials and an awareness of its corporate social responsibility commitments.

Chairman of the Best Business Awards judges, Andrew Areoff, comments, “V1 has turned the myth of the paperless office into a modern day reality for thousands of businesses. Through its electronic paperless solution, V1 helps companies create electronic documents and, thereby, cut paper costs, enjoy new efficiencies and see a return on investment within just six months.

“Growing its business through partnerships with companies such as Infor and Sage, has been a great move for V1 that has enabled it to expand globally. It has also diversified from solutions aimed at finance departments to systems for HR units. The fact that V1 has planted 4,000 trees since 2006 was another great achievement that impressed the judges.”
