Major recruitment drive at Newcastle IT specialists
Newcastle-based software consultancy, Scott Logic, is looking for 50 IT professionals as it expands operations to service international demand.
The firm is seeking software developers and project managers to service demand from Europe and the USA, and will soon open a graduate recruitment scheme.
Scott have just moved into premises at St James’ Gate in the centre of Newcastle and projections for the second half of 2013 show the firm are on track to deliver 20% rise in revenues.
Managing director Gary Scott, said: “We plan to accelerate hiring during the second half of the year to grow from 100 to at least 150 to meet new demand.
“As a high profile consultancy delivering software projects to some of the largest enterprises across the world, the quality and well-being of our people is at the heart of what we do. We are on the lookout for experienced software professionals who are keen to be involved in dynamic & challenging projects and have the desire to be based here in the North East.”
Scott works across sectors such as capital markets, energy and healthcare, building software systems.
Increasingly the company has been involved in mobile projects where its own proprietary technology is in use on iPhones and iPads.
