Communisis lands major contract with Lloyds Banking Group
Leeds-based Communisis plc, the leading provider of personalised customer communication services, has won a major piece of business in agreeing a 10-year contract with Lloyds Banking Group plc (LBG).
Communisis has been chosen by LBG as the outsource partner for the production of all of its transactional customer communications in the UK.
According to the company, this is the largest available contract of its kind in the UK.
Under the arrangements Communisis will assume responsibility for LBG’s current manufacturing sites in Copley and Crawley.
The contract remains subject to ratification by the LBG Board and is expected to become effective in August 2013. Progressive implementation of the contract is planned from October 2013.
Andy Blundell, chief executive of Communisis said: “This is a huge win for Communisis and we are delighted that LBG has entrusted us with an outsourcing contract of such strategic significance.
“Over the ten year term, we will work with the Bank to develop its customer communications in order to make them more personalised and more effective through all channels.”
