Heritage's franchise division secures industry accreditation
A franchising division, launched by Heritage Healthcare, a leading provider of home-based care, has been validated with a prestigious industry accreditation.
The quality of the Heritage franchise offering has been officially acknowledged with the company being granted membership by the British Franchise Association (bfa).
To be accepted into the bfa, franchise companies have to meet exacting standards including proving the business is viable, franchisable, and ethical.
Heritage Healthcare, based in Darlington, was supported in its bid to secure accreditation from the bfa by the founder of The Franchise Company Julie Waites, who is a recognised expert in the field.
Glenn Pickersgill, Managing Director of Heritage Healthcare, said: “It is testament to our attention to detail and the support of and advice from The Franchise Company that we have been officially recognised by the bfa.
“This prestigious validation will help demonstrate to potential franchisees the quality and potential of the franchise package that Heritage is offering.”
Julie, of Darlington-based The Franchise Company, said: “Heritage Healthcare has built a reputation as a quality provider of care that enables people to live independently in their own homes.
“Working with Heritage, we have helped create a franchise business model that not only meets the rigorous criteria of the bfa, but that can be successfully rolled out across the country.”
Heritage is looking for committed, ambitious and motivated people who have the desire to own, operate and develop their own business and would like to join it in providing excellent quality care that enables people to enjoy independent lives in the comfort of their own home.
The British Franchise Association (bfa) is the only voluntary self-regulatory body for the UK franchise industry, with a standards based approach to membership. Its aim is to promote ethical franchising practice in the UK and help the industry develop credibility, influence and favourable circumstance for growth
Heritage Healthcare arranges for carers to assist people in their own homes with practical and personal tasks. This may be for a short while, after an accident or an illness, or it might be long term due to age, disability or other health problems.
Heritage Healthcare also provides Supported Living services to people with physical disabilities or learning difficulties. This includes helping people go to work, attend a day centre, participate in leisure activities or visit the shops.
