Aspectus PR hires Financial Services Exec from Weber Shandwick
Aspectus PR, the global communications and PR agency, has today announced the appointment of financial services technology specialist Tim Focas from Weber Shandwick. Tim, a 2012 SABRE Award winner for best digital media placement, will report directly to Katy Galasinski, head of financial services at Aspectus PR. He joins the agency after two and a half years at Weber, where he worked as a key day-to-day contact on some of the firm’s largest clients in the London technology practice.
“The fast growth of Aspectus PR and its entrepreneurial spirit are both highly attractive for me at this stage in my career,” said Focas. “This role comes with some hugely exciting client and new business opportunities where I can have a real strategic impact on the future growth of the financial services practice.”
“I’m delighted someone of Tim’s background has chosen to join Aspectus PR,” explained Alastair Turner, global group director of Aspectus PR. “He brings a wealth of experience in managing international clients, as well as a reputation for developing and executing highly innovative financial services campaigns that lead to top tier results. These skills, coupled with a strong understanding of the financial technology sector, make him a perfect fit for our growing financial services business.”
This news is in addition to a number of recent appointments, as Aspectus PR bucks the economic trend and accelerates its growth strategy.
