Knight Frank completes £2m double business park deal
Two significant commercial property deals have been completed at a Chesterfield business park, representing just under £2m of business.
Perth House and Dundee House, which form part of the Millennium Way Business Park, have both been sold to a private investor in the first deal valued at £400,000.
The remaining two buildings, Edinburgh House and St Andrew’s House, have been sold to a private property company in a deal valued at £1.5m.
The two deals at the business park, which is just off Dunbston Road, were brokered by Robert Hepworth of the Sheffield office of Knight Frank on behalf of the vendor Helphire Group Plc.
The four detached pavilion office buildings consist of a total floor area of 28,853 sq ft and provide high specification office accommodation.
The business park is fully let to tenants including AIG and Spencers Solicitors.
James Church, property and facilities manager at Helphire Group, said: “The disposal of these properties was an intrinsic part of Helphire’s recent financial restructure and we are therefore pleased to achieve a positive completion to the sale of these assets.”
Knight Frank associate Robert Hepworth said: “This is a high yielding freehold office investment opportunity with asset management angles and strong tenant covenants, and the two deals represented an attractive proposition for both sets of investors.”
