DirectBlinds.co.uk awards social media contract to Leeds’ Shackleton PR

Shackleton PR has agreed terms on a PR and social media contract for one of the UK’s leading online window blinds retailers, boosting its client base in the home and lifestyle sector.

The Leeds-based agency, a wholly owned PR and social media arm of Epiphany Group, has been appointed by DirectBlinds.co.uk to raise awareness of the brand through creative campaigns and communicate directly with consumers via channels such as Facebook and Twitter.

DirectBlinds.co.uk, owned by Huddersfield-based Swift Blinds and Curtains Ltd (S.B & C), is an online brand providing high quality made to measure blinds and curtains.

S.B & C was established in 1969 and remains a family owned and run business, offering a range of colourful patterns, prints and fabrics providing window decor for every taste.

Nicolas Swift, joint managing director, for DirectBlinds.co.uk, said: “We want to continue to grow our business and recognise the importance of social media and PR in helping us achieve our long-term goals.
