Safestyle UK keeps it in the county with deal for 205 Ford vans
Bradford-based Safestyle UK is ‘keeping it in the county’ after agreeing a deal with near neighbour Polar Ford Bradford for the supply of 205 new Ford Transit vans.
The three-year contract to update Safestyle’s fitter fleet, facilitated by lease company Arval, was signed following a short tender process.
A second Yorkshire company will benefit from the deal in Doncaster’s Mobile Installations Solutions Ltd, which will be converting each vehicle with glass racks, internals and other additional items that ensure all Safestyle products arrive to homes around the country in the safest way possible.
Steve Lambert, head of transport at Safestyle, said: “We’re always looking at ways to improve our services, and this deal with two fellow Yorkshire companies will help us maintain our network of fitters as they go about making homes look, feel and perform better through their windows and doors.
“With the economic situation as it is, making the right business relationships is more important than ever, so we wanted to make sure we did our bit to help other good, honest businesses around us - and Polar Ford Bradford and Mobile Installations Solutions are great organisations to work with.”
Safestyle UK will take delivery of the first new vans in November 2013.
