Yorkshire accountants up for top national tax award
Yorkshire chartered accountants Watson Buckle are celebrating after being short-listed as finalists for the British Accountancy Awards 2013.
The Bradford-based firm has made the final six of the Tax Award of the Year category.
The tax award recognises innovation in taxation services, return on investment, quality of management and impact.
John Kinsella, a tax partner at Watson Buckle who lives in Ripponden, said the short-listing was a reward for the whole practice.
He said: “We are extremely proud of making the final in the British Accountancy Awards 2013 for our range of tax services.
“The short-listing is a measure of success for the whole team at Watson Buckle, every single member of staff has contributed to this short-listing.
“This award recognises the tax services of firms of all sizes up and down the country, so to be short-listed is a massive achievement.”
The final of the annual event takes place in London on November 20.
Tax services provided by Watson Buckle include Corporation Tax, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, personal tax services, tax planning, VAT, tax investigations and international taxation advice.
