Capita Symonds has appointed Christine Brennan to its North Tyneside headquarters as business development manager.
She will help the company to take advantage of growth opportunities across the North East of England and Scotland.
During her career, Christine has worked as a marketing and business development coordinator at construction consultancy Faithful+Gould and as purchasing manager for RDA Ltd, a leading catering design and installation company.
Swinburne Maddison LLP, the County Durham legal firm, has strengthened its corporate and commercial property teams with the appointment of two highly experienced solicitors following a period of significant growth.
Mike Ward, who has worked overseas for several years and latterly for a York practice, brings a wealth of experience to Swinburne Maddison encompassing company law, commercial contracts, intellectual property (IP) and IT- related legal affairs.
Skilled commercial property lawyer, Giles McCourt, joins Swinburne Maddison from a Sunderland-based legal firm and will advise on licensed and leisure sector accounts and assist clients with legal matters relating to their commercial and residential property portfolios.
North East-based PR and marketing agency Harvey & Hugo has strengthened its team by appointing a first class multimedia journalism graduate.
Nazila Wilson, who is also currently completing a Masters in Marketing Management at Durham University, has joined the growing team as PR Executive.
Nazila, who is also fluent in Swedish said: “With my background in journalism combined with a passion for PR and marketing, I am very excited to be joining the team at Harvey & Hugo. I’m really looking forward to working with a wide range of clients and being heavily involved in social media marketing.”
Tees Valley accountancy practice Evolution LLP has appointed a new director to head up its tax department as the flourishing firm prepares to expand its reach into new areas.
The professional services firm has bolstered its team with the addition of tax director Tim Mallon, who joins Evolution from Tyneside-based firm Ryecroft Glenton.
Mr Mallon, who is a member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty, has a wealth of experience in tax planning and regularly lectures on tax to clients and peers.
