Newcastle recruiters secure £1.7m investment
Newcastle-based Solutions Recruitment has secured a £1.7m investment to complement expansion into new offices.
The firm employs 46 people and managing director Lee Andrews, who is celebrating 20 years with Solutions, is eyeing substantial growth.
Lee began his career in 1989 as a recruitment consultant, working for a company called HMS before joining Solutions in 1993, then owned by Margaret Clare.
Lee said: “I originally joined the organisation as a Technical & Engineering consultant, but quickly saw a huge amount of potential for the business. I am grateful to the previous MD for allowing me to implement my ideas and impose my growth strategy on the company as a whole.”
Co-director Michael Grayson added: “It is fantastic to work alongside Lee who offers uncompromised industry experience and who has such a focused business approach, aligned with myself and our other co-director Ian O’Brien.”
