InTechnology's milestone NHS accreditation is Cloud service provider first
Harrogate-based InTechnology has stolen a march on its competitors within the healthcare and technology sectors by passing a major accreditation – months ahead of schedule – to accelerate business growth opportunities through the NHS’s robust N3 national network.
The Cloud and IT services provider achieved the latest Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IG SoC) accreditation seven months ahead of deadline to lead the way within the NHS N3 network, which provides companies secure connectivity access and technology services to the NHS and connected organisations.
The intensive process to achieve the accreditation spans four areas: Information Governance Management, Confidentiality and Data Protection Assurance, Information Security Assurance and an overall assessment, all of which InTechnology passed with 100%.
This significant milestone combined with the InTechnology Group’s subsidiary, InHealthcare, which specialises in digital healthcare services, allows InTechnology to maintain a dedicated, flexible, scalable and secure portfolio of technology solutions to a wide range of healthcare clients.
Mark Hall, divisional director for Healthcare Solutions at InTechnology, said: “It is a fantastic achievement to be the first Cloud service provider to achieve the latest IG SoC accreditation.
“This is a key milestone for InTechnology as it will bring further business growth opportunities for us within the NHS and healthcare sector.
“We maintain an extremely proactive approach to maintaining our credentials as we place a very high value on being a part of the N3 network.”
