CY Partners to double workforce with new division

Newcastle recruitment firm CY Partners has launched a digital technology division to its business and is aiming to double its workforce by the end of the year.

The firm are embarking on a major recruitment drive of their own to fuel the growth.

Specialising in engineering, scientific, and technology recruitment, the expansion comes after securing a number of additional multi-national clients within the growing technology and digital industries and seeing increased demand for senior and director roles.

Dan Younger, owner and consultant at CY Partners said: “We have a great team of recruiters with years and years of experience between them. Their passion about recruitment and identifying a need within certain industries is what has led us to this growth.

“We have always worked within emerging sectors so it’s only natural that the technology side is becoming more and more prominent within our business.

“Historically we have tended to place graduates and mid-level players into roles but we were steadily seeing more senior level candidates coming to us for niche jobs or companies looking for someone with that added expertise and experience.

“We are delighted that we are now in a position to be able to place great candidates into high profile roles with a specific arm dedicated to that side of the business. The director level division is being spearheaded by Michael Hutchins and we are seeing great success already.”

Established in 2008, CY Partners is independently owned by Daniel Younger and Probier Chatterjee who have over 20 years’ experience of industry specific recruitment. Since its inception, it has experienced significant growth on a national level with over 180 clients using its services to find staff.

The team works with companies to find suitable candidates for unusual or very specialist roles. It primarily operates within the pharmaceutical, scientific, FMCG, oil and gas and engineering sectors and its portfolio includes: SCM Pharma, Johnson Matthey, Geneius Laboratories, The Specials Laboratory and Leica Biosystems.
