Private hire company Arrow Cars has announced that it is is to invest £3m over the next three years to underpin a new premium service.
The Leeds-based company will today launch Arrow E Class, a prestige service fuelled by an elegant Mercedes E Class fleet.
Through the new service the company claims to have put quality travel within the reach of a large proportion of the Leeds population.
Arrow Cars director David Richmond said: “Arrow Cars E Class service is unique in Leeds – no one else is offering this quality of service at affordable prices at this scale. Our drivers are uniformed and the E Class fleet has complimentary 4G WIFI.
“We’ve been operating a very successful private hire company for several years and it seemed a natural progression to offer an enhanced service for discerning individuals and businesses.”
The service launches with nine Mercedes E Class vehicles increasing to 70 vehicles by 2016. The company expects to create new jobs in Leeds in both administration and driving roles as the service grows.
Arrow E Class will run alongside the company’s traditional private hire business which operates nationwide with a fleet of 500 cars and a team of 60 full time support staff.
The firm holds numerous high profile supplier contracts with a wide range of businesses including Leeds Bradford International Airport, Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport and Leeds’ First Direct Arena.
