Irish software firm to open North West office with 20 staff
Irish software firm Intelligo will set up a new office in the North West and aims to recruit 20 people in the region.
The firm says the success of innovations including MediaCityUK in Greater Manchester and Liverpool’s hosting of the 2014 International Festival For Business have highlighted the opportunities available as a result of the region’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Intellgio - a supplier of outsourced and onsite HR and payroll software and services - is taking part in the Enterprise Ireland North West IT Trade Mission in October.
Padraig Gill, managing director of Intelligo, said: “The North West of England is an exciting and vibrant economy and we would love to be part of it.
“The success of MediaCityUK has confirmed Manchester’s place on the global map and Liverpool will attract the eyes of the commercial world when it hosts the 2014 International Festival For Business.
“If we succeed in finding North West companies wishing to benefit from our services, we would set up a local office in the area to service our new clients.
“This would mean we could provide a more personalised service of locally-based support to customers. Our investment would demonstrate strength of customer commitment.
“This would also result in new employment in the area as we would source our staff locally. At Intelligo, we take pride in recruiting and retaining the most talented and technically proficient people available.
“Our staff is the backbone of the company ensuring we continually develop high quality systems together with unrivalled levels of customer service. We have no doubt that when we invest and train our people we are investing in the improvement of our products, on-going support and services to all our existing and potential clients.”
Intelligo is still to select a location for a North West office.
Established in 1996, Intelligo provides software solutions and outsourced services to hundreds of clients in the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Intelligo’s strengths lie in its cutting edge payroll and HR solutions - Megapay and MegaHR.
Led by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) North West in collaboration with EEN Ireland and Enterprise Ireland, 20 companies from Ireland will be in the North West between October 7 and 9 to showcase their latest technologies and IT systems.
Speed business networking events in Manchester and Liverpool will enable companies to learn more about the services being offered and potential savings. For further information and to register go to www.eenw.org/ireland or call Enterprise Ireland on 0207 438 8709.
