WR financial to hit £1m turnover with major contract

Teeside-based WR Financial reports it is on target to break £1m turnover after securing a major contract with national logistics outfit, Yearsley.

The Stockon firm was appointed to service Yearsley Logistics’ auto enrolment pension and reward scheme for its 1,000 strong workforce.

The new contract win has also led to the firm starting a new recruitment process to add two further members of staff to its reward and benefit team, which currently supports approximately 40 clients nationwide.

Manchester-based Yearsley Logistics is the largest frozen food logistics service provider in the UK with 13 sites.

WR Financial director Tony Slimmings said: “We are delighted to announce we have secured a major contract with Yearsley Logistics and will be supporting all of its 1,000 employees nationwide with auto enrolment and reward benefits.

“This is a momentous contract win for WR Financial as it not only means that our target turnover of £1m for the current financial year is anticipated to be exceeded but we can also continue to grow and strengthen our own workforce.

“The firm is now seen as a leading pension and reward benefit practice not only working with SME clients but also with large employer companies throughout the UK”.

“In addition this will have a spin off advantage for our private clients as it will enable us to continue to develop a bespoke reward portal, which is anticipated to be launched in early 2014.”

HR Manager of Yearsley Logistics Rachel Nicholson said: “It is clear WR Financial take client service very seriously. Having direct access to an executive director with proactive suggestions and a dedicated team always happy and able to assist, their service has allowed my team to refocus on running a busy HR department without worrying about our employee benefit administration and auto enrolment requirements.”
