Sales Tip - Does it come in ….?
Does it come in ….?
I get a lot of requests from people asking for quick fixes and short cuts to sales success. My answer is always the same there is no quick fix; you have to do your sales job properly by making your customer feel important by asking relevant questions, listening to their answers and selling them something that they really need and something that is of benefit to them.
However there is always a place for a great question after you think the customer is interested.
If you customer asks any questions similar to these
- “Does it come in …?”
- “Does your service do this?”
- “Can you product do this?”
- “Will you be able to … with your product/service?”
- “Will it have a ….?”
Here is what you should say …..
Don’t just say “Yes it does” say this “Do you want it if it does?”
The customer can only give you two answers – yes or no. If the answer is a yes and your product does do what they want, go ahead close the sale
If the answer is no ask them what would make them buy your product/service
Do you want it if it does is a great question as it will help you find out what the customer wants and all you have to do is close the sale.
