Digital agency helps sports food brand achieve its goals
Global sports food manufacturer and retailer, Multipower has signed an online marketing deal with Yorkshire digital agency, 9xb.com, as part of its strategy to boost UK sales.
The campaign will see the firm manage pay per click advertising and search engine optimisation for the brand’s ecommerce site in the UK. The Harrogate agency has also created graphics for a display advertising campaign to support the online strategy.
James Campbell, ecommerce and digital marketing manager at Multipower, hopes the deal would strengthen the company’s brand position nationally. He said: “Multipower has been in business for more than 30 years and has a well-established customer base across Europe.
“Our aim is to improve our brand visibility online and drive more sales to both our direct site and to our valued stockists in the gym and retail channels.
Multipower offers sports nutrition supplements, whey protein bars, shakes and powders, as well as comprehensive guides to building muscle.
John Young, account director with the firm said the campaign would be strongly targeted towards raising brand awareness among active 18-35 year olds. “Our key expertise as an agency is in ecommerce, both in building websites and delivering effective online marketing.
“This project will enable us to demonstrate our strengths in this field and help Multipower achieve its ambitious growth targets.”
