New partner opens up Chinese military market for North Yorkshire firm
North Yorkshire’s Analox Military Systems (AMS) has agreed a new distribution partnership which is expected to have a major impact on the company’s product sales in China.
Stokesley-based AMS has signed a distribution agreement with Beijing Huaputai Science & Technology Co Ltd of Beijing, China.
Beijing Huaputai is an established supplier to China’s medical markets, and is currently expanding its client base to include the country’s military sector.
The Chinese company will now market two of Analox’s products, which are designed specifically for military markets - the Sub MkIIIF Hyperbaric Atmosphere Monitor and the Sub MkIIP analyser.
The Sub MkIIP is a compact analyser which provides submariners with key decision-making tools should they ever find themselves in a DISSUB or ‘distressed submarine’ situation.
It is the only analyser on the market which meets the current NATO requirements for atmospheric monitoring equipment located in submarines with an escape capability.
The Sub MkIIIF is a hyperbaric atmosphere monitoring system, capable of measuring oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, pressure, temperature and relative humidity, and is ideal for use in hyperbaric chambers for diving and for monitoring the atmosphere within Submarine Rescue Vehicles (SRVs).
Mr YongChao Yu, general manager of Beijing Huaputai, said: “Analox Military Systems’ products constantly receive excellent feedback, the staff are highly skilled and professional and the customer service and after-sales support are also exemplary.
“Now we are formally an Analox Military System’s agent in China, we are putting our efforts into substantially growing this area of our business.”
Jo Burke, account manager for Analox Military Systems, commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for Analox Military Systems. We have no established contacts within the Chinese military industry, and this agreement opens up a new marketplace for us.
“With this partnership now formalised, we are confident that this will prove successful for both companies.”
