Hundreds of jobs and apprenticeships on offer at Liverpool fair

More than 70 employers and organisations will be taking part in a jobs fair in Liverpool later this month.

The West Derby event, on 31 October, has been organised by Stephen Twigg MP, with the support of Liverpool in Work and the city council’s Adult Learning Service.

The event takes place at the Devonshire House Hotel, with hundreds of jobs and opportunities for apprenticeships on offer.

As well as the opportunity to meet employers there will be seminars and workshops throughout the day including one by Costco which will focus on what employers are looking for.

Premier Inn are also helping job seekers with their interview technique by holding practice interviews.

Stephen Twigg said: “Unemployment is one of the biggest issues that people in West Derby raise with me. I am determined to do all that I can to help provide job opportunities and get those people struggling to find employment back into work.

“The event is open to everyone and I’m hopeful that many people find jobs as a result.”
