IT firm continues growth with two new contracts

Cheshire IT services company adept4 is enjoying a strong start to the fourth quarter of the year – with two significant contracts in Aberdeen under its belt.

The company has won a three year contract to provide managed IT support to specialist oil and gas sector accountancy firm FW Accounting. The company has also been appointed to provide full service IT support under a three year contract to Monitor Systems, a data and process analyst firm also operating in the oil and gas sector.

adept4 had previously been retained by both companies on one year contracts. The contract wins follow a successful year for the business, which opened an office in Aberdeen in April following rapid growth and expansion. The move has allowed the firm to tap into the buoyant North Sea oil and gas sector and develop its presence in the region.

Paul Talbot, adept4 CTO, said: “Companies operating in the oil and gas sector have specific requirements, such as higher demand for security and enhanced data protection needs. The adept4 team is well versed and experienced in working with companies in the sector to ensure that their IT systems meet the stringent demands of the industry and we’re delighted to have been re-appointed by these two existing clients.

“These high-calibre contract wins are testament to the team’s dedication and expertise and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with FWA and Monitor Systems to deliver a quality service and add value to their operations in terms of enhanced efficiency, profitability and security.”

adept4 is assisting Monitor Systems by upgrading and refreshing its network and helping the business to transfer to cloud-based Office 365 software. As a result, the company, which provides complete solutions for acquiring and analysing data and for monitoring and controlling process requirements in hazardous and non-hazardous industrial and offshore environments, will benefit from increased broadband speed and the capacity to access data from any location.

FW Accounting will be transitioning to a hosted infrastructure in a secure datacentre. The company, which provides specialist accounting expertise to a substantial number of Energy and IT contractors in the oil and gas sector, will also be upgrading to cloud-based Office 365 system, which offers increased security, risk reduction and management.

Both companies will benefit from expert IT analysis and management, 24x7x365 support from adept4’s dedicated team and SharePoint document management and Lync video conferencing.

adept4 is a fast-growing full-service IT solutions company, which services a global network of clients in all sectors. The company is headquartered in Daresbury, Cheshire with data centre facilities located in London, Bracknell and Runcorn.
