Northumberland project to aid business start-ups.
Business Northumberland is a new business support service dedicated to helping people who are thinking about starting a business or want to develop and grow a business in Northumberland.
The project provides a free mentor matching service that supports individuals who are looking to either start-up or whom currently own a new business in Northumberland that is less than one year old.
The free workshops on offer by Business Northumberland in the coming weeks include, ‘book keeping made easy’, ‘successful selling’ and ‘employing people’. The events in November are in association with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. As part of the campaign with GEW, Business Northumberland are running a competition to win an iPad through its social media channels.
All of the workshops and events hosted by Business Northumberland are located predominantly in south-east Northumberland. The advisors hosting the workshops have a wealth of experience in business development and are happy to answer any queries from attendees.
