Milestone as Trust Group makes final £2.2 loan repayment

A leading Midlands motor business is celebrating more than the festive season this month, with a major milestone in its history.

The Trust Group, which operates thriving Volkswagen dealerships in Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and Redditch, is set to make its final repayment on a £2.2m loan this December.

The five year deal represented a funding package from The Volkswagen Group to Trust Group founders Andrew Hockedy, managing director, and Nigel White, finance director.

Andrew Hockedy, said: “This is a significant day for The Trust Group, and one that is certainly worth celebrating. “It comes at the end of our most successful year to date, a record year in fact, with the Group set to make £1.2m. We have seen sales of new cars up 22 per cent, and finance renewals up significantly.

“The success is thanks in part to our continued investment in people, with the key appointment of a Group Finance Renewals Manager earlier in the year really paying off – renewals have proved a major aspect of our business and we are successfully converting 47 per cent of customers with a finance deal.”

Trust Group UK not only sells new and used Volkswagens, but also services, repairs and MOTs cars using genuine manufacturers parts. The Group’s shared philosophy is one of delivering excellent customer care through close management of the daily activity at all individual locations.

The individual dealerships at Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and Redditch are managed through experienced Volkswagen Approved Brand Managers who are accredited to represent the brand.
