Deloitte PA crowned Leeds’ best
A PA at professional services firm Deloitte LLP has beaten off tough competition to be crowned Leeds’ Best PA.
Laura Taylor, who has been with the firm for over seven years, was chosen as the winner of the inaugural Leeds Best PA contest.
The contest was launched in October by Leeds’ private hire firm Arrow Cars to highlight and celebrate the work of personal assistants throughout the city.
Laura’s main role is as the executive assistant for the North public sector Audit and Advisory team, which is spread across three offices in the North.
She was described in her nomination as ‘highly efficient, ambitious, dedicated and career-focused’ and an ‘invaluable member of her team, both highly respected and relied upon by all levels from assistant managers to partners’.
Helen Kaye, talent partner at Deloitte said: “This is a great accolade for Laura and testament to the value we place in our talented executive assistants.”
On being crowned Leeds Best PA Laura said: “It’s fabulous news. I’m aware of many exceptional PAs in Leeds so to win this award is a real vote of confidence in my work. It’s lovely to know that hard work pays off!”
The two runners-up were named as Gaynor Butterwick, PA to the pro-vice-chancellor for Research & Innovation at the University of Leeds and Ele Linardou, PA and head of administration at WYG Group.
