New Call’s New Year Lancashire recruitment drive

A North West telecoms company is set to expand its workforce at its Burnley contact centre by 20% after launching a new year recruitment drive.

New Call Telecom, which owns the Primus Saver brand, has opened its doors again for jobs applications at its contact centre in the town following the huge response to their recruitment drive last November. 135

New Call Telecom is boosting its workforce to support its rapid growth due to the success of its award winning broadband and phone offers.

Recruitment Open Days will be held between Thursday 16th and Saturday 18th January at the company’s new contact centre in Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson. Applicants of all ages are welcome and no previous experience in telecoms is required.

The latest hiring spree follows a 60% growth in employees during the course of 2013, with a total of 85 jobs created. New Call has been steadily growing its presence in the area since it relocated its Indian contact centre operations from Mumbai to Burnley in 2011. The company currently employs 135 people.

This month Primus Saver, part of New Call Telecom’s suite of brands, was rated as Best Deal for home phone by ITV’s The Martin Lewis Money Show and The Sunday Times’ Money section.

Nigel Eastwood, chief executive of New Call Telecom, said: “This latest recruitment drive is fuelled by our strong growth and commitment to customer service. In the last year we have received a number of industry awards and best value recommendations in recognition of our impressive offering. It is vital that we continue to employ the best and most passionate staff to ensure our success in 2014 and beyond.”
