Activ expands team with five new recruits
Mobile telecoms and technology business Activ has strengthened its workforce with five new recruits following a strong year of growth.
The appointment of Dana Royle, Daniel Wallace, Jack Bolton, Sion Liebig and Maaike Kellaway to the Newcastle head office of Activ sees the independent technology provider increase its team to 29.
Activ, which provides technology solutions to businesses throughout the North of England, has secured a number of key new clients over the past 12 months including Ringtons, Port of Tyne and Northumbrian Water.
The recent expansion of the Activ team across its sales, IT and customer service divisions plays an integral role in the company’s business strategy, which aims to further increase its workforce while doubling turnover in 2014.
Activ’s managing director, Michael Fitzpatrick, said: “Over recent years we have seen an increase in demand for a broader range of technology and telecommunication solutions. After diversifying our service offering to provide customers with full communications solutions tailored to their individual business’ needs, we were proud to introduce our new ‘Hello Technology’ brand this summer.
“Following the success of 2013, we have set out ambitious plans to further grow the business over the next 12 months and the appointment of our team of new recruits heralds the next phase of our business development.
“I’m delighted to welcome Dana, Daniel, Jack, Sion and Maaike to Activ and I am looking forward to working with them as their skills and knowledge of the industry will be an asset.”
Jack Bolton joins Activ as business development manager, Daniel Wallace as technical services engineer, Sion Liebig as telesales manager, Dana Royle as dealer account manager and Maaike Kellaway as client support.
