New appointment at a leading North East agency

A leading North East advertising agency, which works with major Hollywood film companies, has made a new appointment to help drive customers in the region.

Keltie Cochrane, based at the Toffee Factory, Ouseburn, Newcastle, has taken on Michelle Ord as New Business Manager at the award-winning company.

Michelle, 41, from North Tyneside, has joined the agency after a previous role as Category Advertising Manager for Trinity Mirror followed by a period running her own business consultancy.

“It’s great to be working with an agency like Keltie Cochrane, which already has such a fantastic reputation,” said Michelle.

“The company has been in operation for six years and in that time has gained a great reputation in both the UK and USA through referrals, reputation and word of mouth.

“I have joined their team to help spread the word about what great work we do and help in strengthening the UK client base.”

Set up in 2008, the full service creative advertising and design agency works with companies of all sizes and has developed a customer base in USA on projects for organisations such as LucasFilm, Rolling Stone and the Wall Street Journal.

The company was voted Design Agency of the year by leading creative publication The Drum in 2012 and recently won a gold at the 2013 Hollywood Reporter’s Key Art Awards for the artwork they produced as part of a campaign for Quentin Tarantino’s production, The Man With The Iron Fists.

“We are delighted to have brought Michelle on board to enhance our team further and strengthen our UK market,” said Jason Cochrane, Managing Director of Keltie Cochrane.

“She is the perfect fit for our team and will be a huge asset in highlighting the services we can offer to companies of all sizes, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.”
