Bradford dealers sell £200 million worth of cars
The fleet division of independently owned Bradford-based motor group JCT600 has seen another successful year, selling a total of 11,200 vehicles, worth around £200m, over the last 12 months, representing year on year growth of 28%.
During 2013, JCT600’s volume and prestige fleet operations secured a number of new contracts including a major deal with a daily rental company and the successful completion of tenders from two of the top 50 contract hire and leasing companies.
Neill Richards (pictured below), fleet sales director of JCT600 says: “The growth of the division is part of an ambitious five year strategy which includes establishing ourselves as the fleet dealer of choice locally, regionally and, long term, nationally.
“We have already made tremendous progress and are well on our way to reaching our target of delivering 20,000 vehicles by 2018.
“The plan is to consolidate the successes of 2013 in this quarter, ensuring that our award winning service levels are maintained with new business as well as with existing customers, and then to build on our business development success throughout the rest of the year.
We are confident that fleet sales volumes will hit 13,000 in 2014 as a result of the new business from the former Gilders’ dealerships that have joined JCT600 plus the additional contracts we have secured.“
JCT600’s fleet division comprises prestige fleet operations representing BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi; and volume fleet division consisting of Vauxhall, Kia, Mazda, Peugeot and Seat.
JCT600 is a family business with a history of over 60 years. It has dealerships throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and the North East and sells 19 of the world’s most respected brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The group employs a workforce of 1,800 people.
